Job Title: IT System Administrator
Location: Waltham, MA
EveryNetwork provides technical support and systems / network engineering services to some of the best financial and professional services firms in the country. We have offices in Boston and San Francisco, and also deliver services around the globe.
We are currently looking for an experienced System Administrator to become part of our corporate/internal staff. You will architect and design, deploy, and support all of our own IT systems (network, server, desktop, handheld). If you are a seasoned and experienced professional with both technical and management skills, we want you. We are looking for someone with a wide range of experience that will immediately become an integral member of our team. If you are looking for C-level contact in an IT job, this is it.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy and manage all systems, including
- Microsoft based server infrastructure
- Microsoft Exchange e-mail system
- Cisco based 3 site WAN
- Cisco based VoIP system
- Backup/virus/data protection
- Citrix remote access solution
- Blackberry server and handhelds
- All client systems (IBM/Lenovo)
- All systems to be located in a tier 1 co-location facility
- Monitor systems for performance and reliability
- Develop and maintain business continuance plans
- Rapidly deploy and scale systems to meet demand
- Write detailed, informative documentation from design documents to procedures
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
- 2-4 years experience
- Proven technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience
- Must have knowledge and experience with Windows / Exchange 2003, Citrix, Cisco telephony, Blackberry, Time Slips, Peachtree Accounting software, XP and Vista desktop
