Job Title: Account Manager

Reports To: General Manager Boston Field Office

Location: Waltham, MA            

SUMMARY

As an EveryNetwork sales professional, the Account Manager will consistently demonstrate his/her ability at B2B consultative solution selling and account management to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.  Must excel at working with clients at all levels of the organization including executive level.  Is responsible for proactively anticipating client’s needs and for generating new business within existing accounts. Is accountable for taking a leadership role in working with Everynetwork technology teams and channel partners to develop and implement IT focused solutions that fulfill client business needs and exceed client expectations.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Responsible for proactive new business development within existing accounts.

  • Develop strong interpersonal relationships with clients, EveryNetwork technology teams, and channel partners to achieve company goals.

  • Develop long term relationships and highly satisfied clients who generate enthusiastic referrals and repeat business.

  • Manage a complex, solution sales process and provide detailed, timely forecasts

  • Meet/exceed monthly and annual revenue and profit targets  

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Is a high level consultative salesperson, capable of dealing at executive levels to solve critical business issues with the application of various information technologies.

  • Possesses a strong knowledge base of the Information Technology sector.

  • Experienced in uncovering hidden client needs and developing/communicating solutions to sell services and intangibles to both the executive and engineering/IT levels.

  • Proven abilities to qualify, develop, and manage sales opportunities in the SMB sector.

  • Strong leadership abilities at communicating, mobilizing and coordinating account teams of EveryNetwork technical resources, channel partner resources and client resources.

  • Proactive account management skills driving long-term client relationships, high customer satisfaction and loyalty measured by customer retention and repeat business.

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal/visual communication skills.

  • Flexible problem solver with a “make it happen” attitude who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Possesses superior organizational/time management skills and self-motivational attributes.

  • Must have three to five years experience in technology based complex solution sales.

  • Experience with Venture Capital, financial and private equity companies a plus.  

  • B.S. Degree in related field, business or equivalent
