EveryNetwork advises you follow the steps as directed by Apple and the Consumer Product Safety Commission, but if you choose to use the battery while awaiting a replacement, we recommend that you monitor the temperature of your battery and discontinue use if you feel it is reaching an unsafe level.

You can always continue to use the affected notebook computers safely by removing the battery and use the AC adapter with power cord to power the system until the replacement battery arrives.
